Located in an area of rugged tropical terrain known as Bukit Ungasan, Villa Sur La Colline is just a 20 minute drive to the airport and is relatively close to the internationally recognized surfing beaches of Padang-Padang, Balangan and Dreamland.

Design Concept
Inspired by the tall roof tops and intricate timber panelling of classic Thai architecture, this Bali villa is composed of two main pavilions separated by a terraced walkway. An additional smaller pavilion at the back of the property serves as a gourmet kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and a generous walk-in pantry. There are subtle elements of Balinese design throughout the villa, which has been carefully furnished in wooden artefacts, aesthetic pieces and textiles collected on travels across South East Asia.

Living Pavilion
The main living pavilion at this Bali villa is a split level structure with an integrated lounge and dining area perfect for long evenings of social interaction. A striking timber staircase leads up to a mezzanine library where bookcases are lined with editions of old encyclopaedias and a computer is permanently set up for convenient computer access. Eclectic furnishings, unusual trinkets and antique curios give this environment a warm home style ambience.

Sleeping Pavilion
The two-storey sleeping pavilion can accommodate up to eight adult guests in spacious quarters designed for optimal privacy and relaxation. The ground level of the pavilion at this Bali villa features a pair of suite bedrooms, each with its own exclusive en-suite bathroom and personal sitting terrace. Both bedrooms are linked by a cosy air-conditioned lounge room that was designed as niche to read or watch satellite television.

The elegant master suite is located upstairs and includes a small terrace for couples to enjoy intimate moments alone taking pleasure in the distant scenery and the caress of the cool sea breeze. The master bathroom is a haven of pure indulgence and comes complete with an oversized tub, ample vanity space and separate shower recess embellished in river stones. The fourth bedroom at this Bali villa is a simple retreat at the rear end of the pavilion decorated in unique pieces of artistry and the same hardwood floors that are featured throughout the entire villa.

The Study has a single mattress daybed which can either be used as a sofa or proper single bed should additional sleeping space be required

Fitted to arrange an outdoor dinning or small function, a spacious wooden balcony is set in front of this compound with lotus pond at the corner, where the master bedroom is conveniently set further. The master bedroom is elegant featuring en-suited bathroom and dressing with private balcony overlooking to the pool and to the sea.

A sleek wooden stair between the living and dinning leads down to the lower level where the main pool is set. One bedroom is on the right side featuring a unique designed bathroom with view to the pool and further to the sea. The left side of the compound consists of guest lavatory, and a media room with large LCD TV. Following the ‘L’ shape structure, the two bedrooms are arranged side by side with shared daybed, each with en suited bathroom and direct access to the pool.  The lowest level of this Bali villa is featuring garden with kids’ pool completed with water feature, well equipped barbecue area, a bale to relax on the other side, and the staircase leading to the beach.
